The Strasbourg-Esplanade Cellular Imaging Facility is located in the IBMP. The facility is shared accross 7 research units of the research campus belonging to CNRS, INSERM, INRA and Unviversity of Strasbourg. Sharing technological know-how and state-of-the-art devices is our mission.

  • Technology back up to research projects from partner teams.
  • Develop or explore new microscopy approaches
  • User training, day-to-day, or through formal continuing education programs
  • Teaching of microscopy methods to master and PhD students
  • Keeping existing devices up and running in a multi-user environment.

  • Brightfield, fluorescence and confocal microscopy
  • Fluorescence lifetime imaging
  • Transmision electron microscopy
  • Scanning electron microscopy
  • Plant histology and in situ hydridization
  • Image processing
